Our accommodation is located in the most popular excursion destination of the country, in a beautiful mountain resort of the Mátra. From Gyöngyös, Sástó can be easily approached on the main24th road. Crossing through the village of Mátrafüred, you will find Sástó on the left side of the main road after a 3-minutes drive. Passing under the Mátra chairlift, after a few meters you can turn left and you will see the entrance of the Mátra Kemping Sástó ****.
Be careful! Sástó is not the same as Sóstó!

Gyöngyös is only 80 km away from the Capital Budapest, while Sástó is 88 km away. So the breathtaking surroundings of Sástó and our accommodation, Mátra Camping Sástó can be reached by car in about 1 hour! From Budapest start on the M3 highway until reaching Gyöngyös, then from here go along on the main road 24, going through the village of Mátrafüred, you will find Sástó on the left side of the main road after a 3-minutes drive. From Miskolc
From Miskolc it can be approached on the M3 highway all the way to Gyöngyös.
